Caring for the Caregivers will be a 3 day, 2 night social/educational retreat for up to 30 invited leaders from a mix of psychedelic training programs from across the USA. Programming will include a blend of curated and professionally facilitated group discussions and workshops together with ample opportunity to socialize and have FUN with old and new friends in a beautiful, natural setting among the majestic California Redwoods!

Healing Hearts, Changing Minds recognizes the need to create and nurture collaborative opportunities for it’s grantees, but also for grantees to come together with leaders from other training programs across the country. For this reason and others, HHCM has chosen to sponsor this special convening.

A growing community of psychedelic facilitator training programs has emerged in response to increased demand for trained facilitators to service the nascent psychedelics industry. It is estimated there are now over 100 formal facilitator training programs located coast to coast in the US. Existing programs range in size, complexity and scope from top universities to small, community based non-profit organizations. Few opportunities currently exist for leaders of these training programs to communicate, collaborate and like nature teaches - grow healthy new connections. It is important to offer venues where leaders from all types of programs can gather, collaborate and cross pollinate.
